Automatically and efficiently extinguish motor fires
Brand-EX is a simple and uncomplicated system. It is composed of an extinguishing agent canister, a special valve and a tube ring line which is built in the engine compartment. As soon as the tube reaches the releasing temperature it is bursting cone-shaped. The extinguishing agent effuses and fights against the flames by itself. It is interesting, that approximately 0,5kg powder is enough to quench the fire with this system because it was fought immediately at its origin. Brand-EX can be built into cars, lorries, buses, boats, locomotives, etc. A rebuilding into other vehicles that are acquired is no problem. Besides conventional protective precautions like air bags and safety belts, which have proven their usefulness for years, an utilization of another safety feature for fire protection should not be missed.

About 1,5 litres of gasoline was sprayed into the motor of the test car in Teesdorf. Afterwards it was ignited electrically from a safe distance.
The system was triggering shortly after the deflagration and the emergence of flames. A piece of a newspaper which was inside the motor compartment was only burned on the edges.
